Sony launched in Europe and other PAL regions the Sony PS3 today. Only the 60GB Sony PS3 is available. Amazon UK just started to list the cheaper 20GB Sony PS3 with an October 30th release date.

This is quite a strange timing to list the cheaper Playstation 3 on launch day. At least the published a release date. October 30th is still far in the future.

Amazon UK did not publish a price yet for the 20GB Sony PS3.
I4U News just reported recently that the 20GB Sony PS3 seems to disappear from the US market. And now it looks like it makes a come back in Europe in autumn.
