Al Gore's viewer-centric TV station coming to England

Current TV, the satellite/cable channel co-founded by former US vice president Al Gore will be making its way to the UK. Much of the channel's content is submitted by individual viewers.
Though Gore's name is famously behind Current, the channel has no political ties and has nothing to do with his push to create awareness about global warming.
In the US, about one-third of its 24-hour programming slate is non-fiction videos sent in by viewers.
Current TV will be available through Sky and Virgin Media, and will make its UK debut later this year.
