PSP Go Prices Already Slashed

Sony's PSP Go has only been on the market for about a week and it seems that the console isn’t doing that great. Retailers are already slashing prices of the portable console to entice buyers to pick the system up.
Amazon, Play.com, HMV, and GAME have all cut the MSRP of the price by 11% down to £199. The move could perhaps get some mobile gamers to leave the Nintendo DS and iPod touch for the new console.
That said, even with the new price the PSP Go is still more expensive than the DSi and iPod touch that it is fighting. The lack of the capability to bring UMD games already owned to the Go has to be hurting sales too.
