Will Apple be Able to Meet Demand when iPhone Hits other UK Carriers?

O2 has reportedly sold out of iPhone 3G S models with messages on its website that warn users that it is out of both the 16GB and the 32GB models of the phone. O2 has said that it continues to see extremely high demand for the handset.
The fact that O2 is unable to keep the iPhone in stock has raised questions about whether or not Apple will be able to keep the UK supplied with enough iPhones when the handset hits Orange and Vodafone later this year.
Apple has simply stated, "We are currently unable to make enough iPhone 3GS’ to meet robust demand and we are working to address this." O2 does still have the older iPhone 3G available for purchase.
