A new study from Cisco has been published that ranks countries around the world based on the quality of the broadband service available. Cisco ranked the UK 25th in the world.
At the top of the charts were South Korea and Japan with networks judged to be ready for the future. The UK came in behind surprising places like Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, and Slovenia.
However, Cisco's Joanne Hughes pointed out that the network in the UK is certainly good enough for today. South Korea is just better, they are looking to deploy 1Gbps service widely by 2012.
