Huawei has announced that it will start deploying a new mega fast wireless broadband network based on HSPA+ specifications in 2010. The wireless network promises speeds of 56Mbps.
The service will use HSPA with MiMo to combine the data rate of several base station antennae and increase the overall throughput of the Huawei device. The new speeds are achievable on devices with a firmware update.
This should provide to be ample speed to hold most users over until LTE is rolled out in 2010 and 2011. The firmware update will work for mobile carriers using Huawei base stations.
