Dell Teases 9.99mm Thick Adamo Laptop

Back in March, we got our first glimpse at the svelte Dell Adamo notebook and it was dead sexy. It seems that when designing the machine, Dell forgot there was a recession though because the price was way out of line with machines that consumers were actually buying.
Later Dell came back and cut the price significantly to make the Adamo more appealing on a price basis. Yesterday Dell offered a teasing glimpse at its new Adamo design concept that is 9.99mm thick. The significance of showing the machine off yesterday was because the date was 9-9-09.
Dell offers no details on the machine, but with that thin profile, we can expect the system to use lower power CPUs that can run sans fan. I would also expect the rig to use a lithium polymer battery rather than a normal lithium ion unit.
