Lady Gaga's hit single Poker Face is the most downloaded song in the UK since establishment of the download charts 5 years ago.

Lady Gaga's Just Dance is on 3rd spot. Only the Kings of Leon could squeeze themselves in between on spot 2.
This is quite impressive, as the Lady Gaga sound is in the dance category, but somehow she also managed to reach into the mainstream with her catchy tunes.
The BBC reports also that the top 5 tracks of the download charts got released in the last 12 month. This just underlines that digital music is getting more and more common.
I even heard that young kids think compressed music sounds better than uncompressed analog recordings. Good thing is that digital uncompressed music is becoming more widely available and will hopefully kill compressed music soon, before it is too late.
