World's Smallest Microwave Uses USB

Heinz has teamed up with GAMMA Microwave Technology to offer the world's smallest microwave. The little kitchen gadget is powered by your PCs USB port. The tiny little device measures 150 x 160 x 190mm and will fit a cup of coffee.

You can also cook up your snap pot of Heinz baked beans. According to the makers of the device, it is aimed at the legions of workers who miss lunch each day because they are too busy to leave.

There is no word on pricing at this time or exactly how long it takes to warm something up in such a low powered device. GAMMA is also said to be working on a battery-powered version for outdoor cooking.
