Asus has started offering its MacBook Air competitor in the UK called the Eee 1008HA. The machine is expected to hit store shelves in the UK in the next few weeks and the machine is available for pre-order now at a few different websites.

The machine is priced at £350 and will be available in a few different colors. An exact ship date is unknown with Amazon reportedly saying that the machine will ship in the next month or two.

For your cash, you get a 1.1kg netbook that is 1-inch thick and has a 10-inch 1024 x 600 screen with an Atom N280 and a 160GB HDD. Asus offers 1GB of RAM for the machine and it comes with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth built-in.
