The Citroen C1 Ev'ie electric car has hit the UK and it looks like the average city car. The car is a four seater that can travel up to 70 miles per full charge.

That driving distance should be plenty for city folk that drive short distances. The car charges from a 13-amp socket and takes around 6 hours to fully charge. The machine can go up to 60mph on the road as well.

The car will set you back £16,850 to get your hands on one of the first version with only 500 being made this year. Production will ramp up in 2010 to between 2,000 and 4,000 per year.
