Apple Ups Price of Some iTunes Tracks

Apple has increased the price of some of the digital tracks on its iTunes store with prices for the UK going to 50 pence, 79 pence, and 99 pence. This change in track pricing is the first price change since 2003.
Odds are the new pricing reflects increase royalty payments demanded by music studios. New songs get more expensive, but older tracks actually got a bit cheaper.
I guess the price change is good or bad depending on your music taste. Apple says there will be ten tracks that are now cheaper for every song that increased in price. That doesn’t matter though if all you want is the new tracks.
