Orange and Apple Looking to Subsidize MacBooks

Orange and Apple are apparently getting ready to sign a deal that would allow Orange to sell subsidized Apple MacBooks to its customers. The agreement could be in place and the machines on store shelves as early as this summer.
That would mean that if the much rumored Apple netbook debuts orange would be offering it in subsidy as well. Orange has been subsidizing other notebooks and netbooks for a while.
The Asus Eee 901 is offered free with a £24.47 monthly 3G internet package with a mere 3GB of monthly bandwidth. Orange is predicted to heavily subsidize the MacBooks selling the white machine for as low as £299 with a contract.
