Xbox 360 Arcade Gets Internal Memory

The big downside to the Xbox 360 Arcade system was that it lacked any internal storage for games or other content. Microsoft has quietly added some internal storage to the console in the Jasper update that also brought with it more power efficiency.
The Arcade system now includes 256MB of internal storage, which means users of the new system can download the new Xbox Experience firmware without resorting to a memory card.
The storage space will also allow users to save games and download things online. The system will no longer come with a memory card though. Users with slightly larger budgets should still opt for the Xbox 360 systems with an internal hard drive.
