Sony has come out and denied the price cut rumor that had the PS3 getting cheaper next year. However, Sony is offering some nice discounts on the PS3 through its UK Sony Style store.

The store is offering the 40GB, 80GB, and 160GB PS3 systems at reduced prices. The 40GB PS3 is available for £249.99, £40 off the normal price. For an additional £10 you can opt for the 80GB console.

The Sony Style store is also offering free shipping. Sounds like a good deal, but during the holidays you can probably find the PS3 bundled with some games at other locations for about the same price.
