BlackBerry Storm close to 100,000 Pre-orders on Vodafone?

The first touchscreen BlackBerry is apparently very hot in the UK. Vodafone is said to be close to counting 100,000 pre-orders for the BlackBerry Storm.
Vodafone will start shipping the BlackBerry Storm on Novermber 14th.
The BlackBerry Storm can be had for free with selected plans in the UK. Since it is the next hottest phone out there it is understandable that customers are after it.
Features of the 3G Storm include "clickable" touch-screen supporting single-touch, multi-touch and gestures, screen resolution of the 3.25 inch is 480 x 360 resolution at 184 ppi, 3.2MP camera, 1 GB of onboard memory storage, microsd card slot, media player, 3.5mm headset jack, full HTML browser, and a removable and rechargeable 1400 mAhr battery that provides approximately six hours of talk time on 3G networks and 15 days of standby time.
Measurements of the Storm are 112.5x62.2x13.95mm and the weight is 55g.
