The Medion Akoya Mini E1210 has been officially announced for the UK. The little netbook measures 260mm x 180mm x 19mm and weighs 1.2KG. The machine will be available in black and silver and one model in white.

The notebook is a variant of the MSI Wind, has a 10-inch screen, Intel Atom CPU, and runs on Windows XP Home. The system has an 80Gb HDD and 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM.

Other features include Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 950, a web cam, mic, memory card reader, and 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi. The netbook will sell for £279.99 at Aldi stores.
