Microsoft will be launching the 60GB Xbox 360 premium in Europe Friday. The 60GB unit will cost GBP 199.99, the same price as the 20GB Xbox it is replacing. The price of the 20GB console is expected to drop and stay at those levels until the supply runs out.

The amount of the price drop is unknown, in the US the 20GB version dropped to the equivalent of GBP 151. The 60GB bundle will include an HDMI port, wireless controller and wired handset.

"No one device offers the depth and breadth of entertainment that Xbox 360 can deliver and we know consumers need increasingly more and more space to store the amazing digital entertainment content we provide," said Neil Thompson, European Xbox boss, without bias.
