EA's latest installment in the Battlefield franchise -- Bad Company -- got a new mode this week in a free update. The mode added is Conquest, which has been a fan favorite since Battlefield: 1942. The conquest mode is based on punching an opponent's tickets by holding strategic points and eliminating opponents.

The new mode doesn’t add any new maps, but can be played on all existing maps. The game is a break from the more multi-player oriented prior installments with a more robust single player game.

The game also makes use of destructible environments. I hope that the game comes to the PC so I can give it a go. I refuse to play shooters on a console.
