Tomorrow is D-Day for Apple iPhone 3G fans with the device going on sale around the world at the same time. the expected limited availability of the handset has buyers already waiting in lines in many cities around the world.
If you are in the UK and are looking to get your iPhone 3G from O2, you might want to reconsider the huge line. O2 has said according to Times Online that it could be August before many buyers can get their hands on the iPhone 3G.
O2 says that there will be but a few dozen iPhone 3G devices at each store and retail customers can only get one phone with business customers being able to get two. Times Online did the math and it works out to only 18,000 phones available from O2 and it had already admitted to having 200,000 pre-orders.
