Ricoh GX200 Camera Review

TrustedReviews has posted a review of the Ricoh GX200 digital camera, which is the follow-up to last year’s GX100 digital camera. The GX200 is a 12MP camera with a 1/1.7-inch CCD with image stabilization. The cam features a 2.7-inch LCD and a variety of exposure and manual control options.

The camera can also record video clips at 640x480 and 320 x 240 resolutions. Images can be stored to 58MB of internal memory and to SD/SDHC memory cards in jpeg or RAW formats. An optical viewfinder can be removed for those preferring to use the LCD to line up shots.

TrustedReviews says that the GX200 is a mixed bag when it comes to images. Low ISO shots in good light look good. However, at ISO 400 and higher noise soils the images. In the end the camera works well, but the reviewer says it’s not as good as it should be.
