UK iPhone 3G hopefuls better get up early to get their hands on one of the anticipated devices on launch day. Register Hardware says that a staffer from O2 has offered some details on the launch of the phone.

The devices will be allowed to leave the store on July 11th starting at 7am assuming you can pass the credit check. The details supposedly came from a poster at MacRumors who claims an O2 employee in a Midlands store told him the information.

The guy also claims that O2 will start accepting applications for the required credit check on July 1st to make the launch as smooth as possible. iPhone 3G fans in the US are jealous over the deals UK shoppers are being offered on the iPhone 3G. Nothing comparable to the free iPhone 3G can be found from AT&T.
