At some point in the future if your cell phone runs out of juice you may have to dance to get it working again. Orange has shown off a prototype device called the Orange Dance Charge that captures the energy from dancing and turns it into power for your phone.
Orange says that the charger is the result of months of research and could be used to power mobile devices during summer dance festivals. The prototype device weighs 180grams and measures 4.25 x 2.4 inches.
It attaches to the wearer via a neoprene arm band that looks like something you carry your iPod in when jogging. As the arms move with the groove magnets and weights create a current that provides a charge. One could assume the device would work with any activity where the arms move like walking or running as well.
