The latest challenger to the iPhone’s touchscreen throne is the Samsung Omnia. Pocket-lint has a hands on review of the Omnia and says that the good points are the HSDPA speed, 5MP camera, and a better touchscreen than found on usual Samsung devices.
The bad points are Windows Mobile 6.1 and doesn’t fully utilize the touchscreen. The verdict is a good device for the Windows Mobile crowd.
Some interesting features are a d-pad that also controls the cursor on screen for those not always wanting to use a finger. The haptic feedback makes the phone vibrate when the screen is touched. Apparently this takes some getting used to.
