Apple’s WWDC where it it widely expected the new 3G iPhone will be unvealed is only a few days away now and rumors and speculation are still pouring in. According to BBC News the phone will be fatter for a bigger battery and have a better camera and a GPS chip.
Some rumors have surfaced that point to their possibly being 2 different screen sizes for the new iPhone, both of which are smaller than the current device. That one sounds unlikely to me. BBC says that the new phone will have a dedicated link to the iPhone apps store. That one makes sense, and I am sure the current iPhone will get one as well via an update.
Other possible new features according to the BBC are a partnership with a big Internet brand and capacity for Mobile TV. Pay-as-you go versions of the new iPhone are widely expected and many sources still point to significantly cheaper prices for the new device than the first generation iPhone. Apple seems intent on becoming one of the top mobile phone makers in the world.
