Juicy 3G iPhone Rumors Surface... Again

More 3G iPhone rumors show up late in the day today. According to MacWorld O2 is planning on running a series of programs to entice Europeans into getting the new 3G iPhone. MacWorld is saying that the 3G iPhone will cost only £100 and will require an 18-month contract.

An even juicer rumor says that people who bought a current iPhone from O2 will be offered a free upgrade to the 3G version of the device for simply signing a new 18-month contract. New users who opt for a high tariff calling plan are rumored to get the iPhone for free as well.

Other interesting rumors from Macworld are that the new iPhone will be offered in Europe on a pay-as-you-go plan with the device itself costing £269. That price is the same as the existing iPhone sold for. If these rumors prove to be true Europe should see lots of adopters for the new iPhone.
