The MSI wind is one of the most recent competitors to the Asus Eee in the tiny netbook category. Pocket-lint got its hands on one and says that the good points of the rig are the Atom CPU, great screen and big keyboard.
The bad point is poor battery life. The end verdict is that the screen and keyboard are fantastic and the Wind doesn’t compromise on usability or features. The review unit used an Intel Atom N270 running at 1.6GHz.
The screen in the Wind is a 10-inch unit with a 1024 x 600 resolution and runs Windows XP. Pocket-lint says the keys are almost full size. Battery life for the machine is 3 hours with the basic battery and an extended life battery option lasts for 5 hours.
