And the anticipation and rumors surrounding the 3G iPhone continue to grow. PC Pro is reporting that Hannes Schwaderer, managing director for Intel Germany said in an Interview that the new 3G iPhone was powered by one of Intel’s new Atom processors.
Schwaderer also claims that Apple will be introducing not one new iPhone, but two new devices at WWDC in June. So high is the anticipation that Apple has sold out its WWDC for the first time ever. There have been some rumors floating around that Apple may be introducing a clamshell iPhone as well.
These rumors would seem to jive with what Schwaderer is claiming Apple has up its sleeves. Perhaps we will see the familiar brick style 3G iPhone pop up soon to replace the MIA current iPhone and a new clamshell iPhone may be hiding in Jobs’ pocket at WWDC.
UPDATE: ZDNet in Germany calls BS on the PC Pro story claiming the Intel man never said Atom and iPhone in the same sentence.
