The new generation of the hyper successful Asus Eee PC draws closer. The new Asus Eee PC 900 is supposed to ship on May 1st and sell for £329 in a Windows XP and Linux configuration.

The Guardian posted a table showing the different Asus Eee PC models available in the UK. The Asus Eee PC sports a new bigger screen (8.9 inch) with a higher resolution of 1024x600px. This screen is definitely the most important and valuable upgrade over the 701.
The Windows XP version would come with 12GB SSD drive and the Linux version will have the large 20GB SSD storage option.
