Hard core music fans that also the outdoors where they are away from a power outlet to charge their devices have a new device that will help prevent them from running out juice for their music. GeekStuff4U has a new MP3 player called the Cranking MP3 Player.
Not a very good name for sure, but the gadget gets power for playback from turning a crank on the side of the player. According to the specs one minute of cranking gives you ten minutes of playback. A minute may not sound like much, but I can see that being a pain when you have to spend 10 minutes cranking your MP3 player to listen to an entire album.
For the times when you are near a PC for charging, you can use a USB cable for the charge. The little crank handle stows on the side of the device out of the way when not in use. Storage capacity is only 1GB.
