Ask a bunch of old school super Nintendo gamers what their favorite game was and a bunch of them will inevitably tell you Mario Kart. This was one of the single best games to ever grace the Nintendo system. Nintendo announced not too long ago that it was bringing the game out for the Wii console along with a steering wheel accessory.

Pocket-lint got its hands on the game for a review and found that the game is still as good as the classic and Nintendo didn’t mess with what was so cool about the original. The good points were the Wii wheel, fun gameplay, internet play and lots of courses.

The bad were that the Wii wheel isn’t really needed and the game is more of the same with nothing new. The Wii wheel looks and sounds just like the plastic remote holder that you can get with a number of Wii racing titles currently. The game will officially launch on April 11th.
