PMP fans looking for something not from Apple may have had their eye on the Creative Stone MP3 players that were announced at the end of 2007. It’s taken Creative a long time to actually provide a UK release date for the tiny little players. Creative says that the Stone will be available in 2GB standard versions and 2GB or 4GB Plus versions.

The Stone players will be available on March 1st at £29.99, £37.99 and £49.99 respectively. Creative also announced a price drop on its Zen players with the 4GB version dropping to £79.99 and the 8GB version moving to £99.99.

Creative made no official announcement of price drops for the 16GB and 32GB Zen players, but TrustedReviews says price drops are being seen online so official word may be coming.
