It’s no fun when your website gets hacked, and worse so when your site is hacked for nefarious purposes. You might think that the websites of law enforcement agencies would be the best protected sites online, but it seems that’s not the case.

The careers website for the vaunted Scotland Yard was hacked and a green monster (my three year old daughter tells me it’s from Yo Gabba Gabba) looking like it came from Sesame Street was put up with an embarrassing description. The description reads:

Officer Brobee sez: Oh HAI Guys do joo wanna bes a policeman lulz? I see that the so 15 anti-terrorism anti-lutz police are hiring more incompetent nervy edgy sociopaths to make London’s streets just a little bit safer! OH LULZ.

The message is now gone but you have to think someone at Scotland Yard got a real reaming over the hack.
