The reader is called Alex and its patented dual screen technology is known as the Duet Navigator. The Alex device supports multimedia links and text.

The main screen of the device is a monochrome electronic paper display and the multimedia screen below is a color LCD. The Android OS allows the device to surf the Internet over Wi-Fi or 3G mobile broadband service. Read more

When Sony unveiled its kindle fighting reader the on the thing it was missing was wireless connectivity.

This week Sony unveiled its first eReader with integrated wireless. The device sells for $399 and can store up to 1000 blocks in its internal memory and download them over mobile networks. The Sony device gets its connectivity from AT&T and has a 7-inch screen. Read more
