McLaren Unveils MP4-12C Supercar
Topic: Cars & Vehicles
I still think one of the hottest exotic cars ever produced was the McLaren F1. McLaren is back with another new supercar called the MP4-12C. The vehicle is a two seat mid-engine sports car rather than a strange three seater like the original was.
Exact performance numbers are not known at this point, but the car is expected to hit 200mph and hit 60mph in under four seconds. The engine is a 3.8-litre V8 with 600bhp at 8400 rpm. The power is sent to a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox with paddle shifters. Read more

Ferrari 458 Italia Breaks cover
Topic: Cars & Vehicles
Ferrari has officially unveiled the replacement for my personal favorite Ferrari, the F430. The new car is called the 458 Italia and draws some of its lines from other Ferrari products, namely the Enzo. You can see the family resemblance in the 458's lines.
Thankfully, the car looks better than the Enzo, which was not one of the sexier Ferrari's in my opinion. The car has a 4.5-litre v8 engine claiming the highest power output of any normally aspirated engine. The car hits 127bhp per liter for a total of 562bhp at 9000rpm. Read more

The most polluting car in Britain is the Dodge SRT-10 according to information released by the Environmental Transport Association. It’s not clear if by SRT-10 they mean the pickup version or the Viper, odds are they are talking Viper.
According to the association, the car emits 488 grams of carbon dioxide every kilometer it is driven and that an acre of forest with 322 mature oak trees would be needed to absorb the cars emissions in a year. Read more

The Citroen C1 Ev'ie electric car has hit the UK and it looks like the average city car. The car is a four seater that can travel up to 70 miles per full charge.

Aston Martin Rapide: Bond's Family Car
Topic: Cars & Vehicles
If James Bond had settled down with Vesper and had kids, the new Aston Martin Rapide would be the car he drove the kids to school in. Visually the car looks like a Vantage with two extra doors and it is very sexy.
Aston Martin says that the car is in the final stages of development and will make its public debut in late 2009. The final release model of the Rapide will be delivered in early 2010. The four-door beauty is a grand tourer designed for long-range driving comfort and performance. Read more

Man's need for speed has seen British engineer Richard Jenkins break the land speed record for a wind-powered vehicle.
