The game sold 1.78 million units in the UK in the first five days it was available.

It generated £67.4 million in sales. The Xbox 360 version of the game shipped a million units the first week alone. The massive sales of the game means that the game alone grossed nearly twice the revenue as the entire game industry last week. Read more

I cannot verify if the Sky Player service is now working fine on the Xbox 360. The last update from yesterday on the Xbox site says that Microsoft has implemented a revised rollout to access Sky Player on Xbox 360, to ensure that consumers experience both a smooth sign-up process and high-quality experience.
